Our products are compatible with standard CCID card readers. If you already have such a card reader, there is no need to purchase additional ones.

If you have an Android phone that supports OMAPI, a card reader is not necessary.

If you want to be able to upgrade your card’s firmware, you’ll need a card reader.

If you only have an Apple phone and can’t borrow an Android that supports OMAPI to complete the initial setup, purchasing a card reader may be necessary.
